Kira was abused as a small puppy. She was dropped off at a shelter, or rather thrown across the room at a shelter worker. She had serious effects from the trauma and she was fearful with men and strangers. Kira went to a fabulous foster home that worked diligently with her and she was able to be adopted. Kira's forever family lives in NY and they report she is a wonderful pet and has continued to make progress with her issues. -Shane
