Boomer is the happiest, strongest dog in the world.
Sometimes when the dogs are in the pound they are stressed and get depressed. I would too if I was living in the cold, dark wet basement. Boomer was different, his spirit and joy were undeniable. Although we could not take him that day we told the ACO that we would come back for him if his time came up and he did not have a home. Needless to say a week later Boomer made his way to Vermont. It was the greatest feeling to watch him running free in the fields. Boomer's energy level and boundless enthusiasm were sometimes challenging for his foster family, but you could not help but LOVE this dog. We knew we were looking for a very special home for this boy as he is " a lot of dog", and his family finally came for him.
Sometimes the goodbyes are easy, sometimes they are hard. Even though there was an emptiness in our home when Boomer left we were ecstatic that he had finally found his forever home. -Shane
