Squishy

Hi Shane,

It is with great sadness that I report that our wonderful Squishy passed away last Thursday, Sept 30th, at 7:30pm. We noticed on Wed that her belly was very swollen and distended so we took her to the vet..We found out that she had a massive cancerous tumor on her spleen and both her sleen and tumor were bleeding into her belly. At that time she had about 3 litres of blood in her belly...we took her home as she wasn't in any distress yet...by Thurs. evening Squishy let us know that it was time for her to leave. Surrounded and cuddled by me, Warren, Mitchell and Jack, Squishy peacefully passed away knowing how much she was loved and wanted. We are having her cremated and hopefully we can pick her up and bring her back home next week...

Thank you sooooooo much for allowing Squishy to adopt our family 3 years ago, and I still can't believe that she is gone...I can't tell you how much we all miss and love her and she really was the most amazing, perfect dog. She is my 4th greyhound that cancer has stolen from our family and it never gets easier.
