My daughter LOVES beagles. The rest of us are not really hound people. Jack was picked up as a stray in Hartford CT and I did not tell Katie that we were picking up a beagle. When Katie saw Jack she nearly cried tears of joy, she was covering her face and jumping up and down like she had just been crowned Miss America.
Katie took very good care of Jack while he was in the rescue. One of the few dogs she has let sleep in her bedroom. Jack was a very typical hound puppy and he willingly accepted her love and attention.
Jack now lives in the Burlington VT area with his new dad.-Shane
