Shelby's life has come full circle. She was picked up after she had been left behind by her "owner" at an apartment complex in a bad part of Hartford. She had been tied to a fence for a long time and was in really bad shape physically. I questioned whether or not we would be able to rehab and rehome this dog but she quickly calmed my fears.
Shelby is a fantastic dog, she is devoted, loving, silly and full of joy. Whether she is snuggling on the couch, rolling in the grass or playing fetch in the yard you know how grateful this girl s for her new life.
We are thrilled to report that Shelby has been adopted! She is going to a home in VT and we are positive she will be VERY loved and happy in her new home.

Why you angels giving these beautiful animals a second chance. It just warms my heart reading about second chance critters.
