Miller

Miller is a gorgeous Rottweiler from NYC. He was found tied to the Animal Control door in Manhattan at 2 am last November. He came up to Tunbridge in a Mayor's Alliance transport van and he was very sick. We felt an immediate bond with Miller and the first few days were great. Then he started to test us, show us his teeth, trying to bite the nurses at the vet, and growling when we asked him to move or tried to get by him.
As soon as Miller was healthy enough we called in a professional. Jill Halstead of Follow the Leader
made the trip to Tunbridge to work with us. That visit changed everything for us and Jill gave us the tools we would need to make Miller adoptable and safe. We worked with him for months and we knew we were looking for a pretty specific home for this guy. We needed someone that would have the ability to continue his training, believed in positive reinforcement and follow through. She found us and although there were some hairy moments in the beginning everything has worked out for Miller (his new attitude) and his new family. Thank you Jill for teaching us how to help Miller and his new family for the work you continue to do with him. -Shane
