Honey

Honey came to NNEDR from Grayson County Humane Society in KY. I don't know if I have talked about Grayson before on here, but we do get quite a few dogs from them. The women at Grayson are all volunteers. They work tirelessly to place, love and rehome their dogs. They contribute their own money, bought a van to transport the dogs in and spend their own time cleaning the shelter and caring for the animals. They are incredible.
The women at Grayson County loved Honey very much and they got to know her very well as she was there for over three years. We are not sure why Honey did not get adopted. She came to NNEDR in May of 2009 and she was with us for 9 months before she met her forever family and as you can see in the pictures, they were worth the wait.

Honey is in a loving home, with great parents and kids where she gets a ton of love and snuggling. She takes walks, has dog friends in her building and she is living the life we all dreamed she would one day have.

Thank you Grayson for saving Honey and never giving up on her. She is a great dog and a true success story. Best of luck to Honey and her family.

Honey is fitting in just great around here. We wanted to get you some pictures from playtime. Honey loves to cuddle anytime and is so patient when the little ones want to also. Honey enjoys playing outside and with her new rawhide chew toys, she also has her new "Honey Bunny" to chew and play. Hopefully she won't take a liking to shoes etc. She has also helped us meet many other nice people at pet stores, neighbors and parks. Sometimes she stands next to you expectant, waging her tail and waiting for something; usually a hug and kisses appear to be the best answer.
