Bowie

Sometimes a dog comes into the rescue and we wonder if he will ever be adopted. Sometimes the dog has behavioral issues or does not photograph well (we are looking at you Roxxy). Bowie was one of those dogs. He was so stressed by all of the moves, kennels, car trips and changes that it took him weeks to settle in and start learning. Once we did we could see how wonderful this boy really is. He worked hard at training, we worked hard with patience and he pulled it together. We knew we would be looking for a really special person or family for Bowie and we are thrilled to have found one. He really needed a family that could see the magic in him and commit to training him. He was adopted 10 days ago and he is doing great in his new home. His forever family understands the importance of training him and his new sister Willow is perfect for wearing him out!
Hi Shane, Bowie is doing wonderful here. He is still learning, but he seems to be making progress. We have to really work on the pinching with his teeth. He's also very clumsy. He knocks over things whereever he goes. We got an anti-pull harness that is working wonders and going for walks with two dogs is much easier now. He loves to cuddle. In fact as I am writing this I have two heads in my lap, Willow on the left and Bowie on the right. He has been noticably more calm and we all think he fits in perfectly.
