Kyle!

So you may have noticed in the past 7 months we have not had many dogs coming into the rescue. As some of you know we have had some changes in our family composition. In February we welcomed Kyle, our son to our family and last week his adoption was finalized. Kyle is three years old and has adjusted to farm life with amazing ease and delight. We knew when we adopted Kyle that we would not be able to rescue dogs for awhile and depending on his personality maybe not ever again. I am happy to say Kyle LOVES dogs as much as his mom.

For the past seven months we have been devoting all of our time and our selves to Kyle and his adjustment and it has been great, but the dogs are always in the back of my mind. This week my very tolerant, patient and understanding husband agreed that we would consider getting back into the rescue, but only if I did it differently...

I am trying to put together a reliable group of foster homes, people that are willing to transport, do home visits and screen applicants so I do not cause husband burnout again and I can still give my business and family everything that they need. So if you are interested in being involved PLEASE let me know. You can email me shane@nnedr.org. And pass it on, dogs are being put to sleep for lack of space and timing out every week.

Remember Bark in the Park, October 4th in Norwich VT. We are looking forward to seeing everybody there! Shane

  1. Hey, I was wondering if you know where exactly the Bark in the Park is taking place? I haven't really been in Norwich, VT all that much. Also if you know what times it will be? Thanks!
