On Wednesday June 11, 2008 we said goodbye to our dog Savannah. Many of you were greeted by Savannah when you came to pick up your dogs or have known her for years. She was ill and suffering in the heat. There is a Saint Bernard size hole in our hearts and we miss our old friend very much. She was the test dog for countless temperament tests, the perfect example of what a rescue dog can be and she lived with joy and playfulness right to the end.
