We are so grateful to those of you who have adopted dogs from us in the last two years. We know that they are not always the easiest dogs to live with or integrate into your lives, but we very much appreciate your efforts and commitment to them. We have met so many wonderful people during this process, and learned so much about people and dogs. Anyway Maddie...

After several months of debate over whether or not Maddie was to be a permanent resident of our household she has been adopted.

Sometimes you just know when you have found the perfect person for a dog and everything clicks. That is what happened with Cheryl and Maddie. I knew from the moment I read the application that they were meant for each other. So while we missed our little friend last night when we were watching TV we are thrilled that Maddie has found her forever people. Here is an update and some pictures from her new family.

WE LOVE MADDIE!!! :)What a great little dog - she's wonderful! So sweet and so cute... Her & Tucker have been having so much fun together - especially today. I fell asleep with her snuggled up to my chest last night in the papasan chair. The cats were horrified last night, but she's been so polite and sweet with them that they are slightly starting to warm up to her - if only a little bit. Thank you so very much for allowing Maddie to come home with us. I tried taking more action photos of Maddie & Tucker playing, but they are just too fast!
