Bella. Bella is the sweetest, quietest easy going dog we have ever had in the rescue. And the fastest! Bella came to us in an unconventional way and she is the only greyhound we have ever known. After she had her teeth cleaned and some removed she charmed us all. We were concerned that we were going to have a hard time finding a home for a seven and a half year old greyhound, but the perfect family came along (and we mean PERFECT) Lucky Bella was adopted and now she is Canadian!

SQUISHY is home....(Formerly known as Bella the Greyhound)...(My kids named her...but that's another story)

It is with great pleasure that I can say...Squishy is home. It has taken her 7.5 years to finally find her forever home, but with the wonderful help, love and assistance from NNEDR, Shane, Tony and Kira, she has done it. After losing our last greyhound, Abbey to cancer 2 months ago, we were all finding ourselves very lonely without 2 greyhounds in the house. Venus, our 11 year old greyhound really needed another friend, then we came across Squishy. She has been home 3 days now, and she is amazing. She is the most well mannered, loving girl and she feels as if she has been with us forever. She is really enjoying suntanning by the pool with Venus and has already trained the kids to get her a cookie whenever she walks over to them and gives them her sad eyes look. Thank you all so very much for allowing us to have the priviledge of spoiling and loving Squishy and Squishy really deserves all the love and attention she is getting. What can I say....She is perfect and I am so glad she is finally HOME where she belongs.
