Tanner came on the same transport with Miller. This dog was all personality and tricks! Tanner was surrendered by his family after 6 years because they said one of their children developed an allergy. Tanner was very confused and sad about the loss of his family but was lucky enough to find a new loving home in South Acworth NH.-Shane
It is statistically difficult to find homes for large black dogs, and for a large black dog over five? Nearly impossible. Tanner was lucky enough to find someone that could see the magic in him. His family was committed to working through his issues and adjustment period and they are all ahppy now that they did. Tanner has become a very special part of the family and just look how happy he is now!
I adopted Tanner the beginning of January. He's a wonderful dog and I love him so much. I didn't think I'd want another dog after I lost my dog of 15-16 years, but I love animals and there was a void in my home. I searched for months before I came upon Tanner in Petfinder. He has become a member of my family and I couldn't imagine ever having to give him up. He's my best buddy.
