Jimmy: Our before and after dog.
We picked up Jimmy the night we went to get Papi because the person that had committed to adopting him did not show up. When we saw him he was scary. He looked like a little Chewbaca with huge mats of hair and dirt on him. He smelled so bad we rode home with the windows a little bit open for fresh air. At one point we stopped at a Petco that had a groomer, but the woman refused to touch him. Eventually we got him home and the next day a wonderful groomer (Affectionate Pet in Lebanon NH 603-448-5300) agreed to see him for an emergency appointment. She did such a great job on his haircut he became our Extreme Makeover dog! Eventually Jimmy was adopted to his new home in VT. He has a wonderful new mom and family with human brothers to sleep in bed with and canine brothers to play with.
